Shipborne Screw Ship Unloader with High Capacity
Description
Each system is a good alternative that performs best in specific areas of application. With each of these technologies serving a purpose, the specific area of application and volume of bulk material are the deciding factors.
Pneumatic unloaders are strong when lower capacity and low annual throughput are key factors and when a short return on investment is more important than efficiency and power consumption. Mechanical unloaders are strong where high unloading capacity and higher annual throughputs are the case. This solution offers low energy consumption, less wear, low maintenance and efficient unloading resulting in short berthing times.
ATXL-D screw ship unloader is installed on barge, does not occupy dock berth, can move in different docks, and has strong maneuverability in unloading operation. Relying on the two-way horizontal rotation of the turret and the pitching amplitude of the horizontal beam on the tower and the swing of the vertical arm, the three-dimensional movement of the reclaimer can track the material position, and the material can be lifted to the horizontal screw by the vertical screw machine. The material in the warehouse can be automatically unloaded onto the shore or other ship's conveying system by the discharging device.
